Deposit24 Branch Capture | How it Works | FAQ | Equipment Options | Legal Requirements | Why Branch Capture?
Creative Payment Solutions (CPS) Branch Capture uses scanner technology to create a digital representation of a check image at a branch bank instead of a check processing center. This digital representation can then be sent to the CPS processing center for processing.
- Items are captured at a branch location by a scanner.
- As transactions are received, the teller scans the documents through the capture device.
- Work is captured at the branch and images are spooled via the Financial Institution’s internal network or ISP and forwarded to the CPS processing center.
- Depending on the financial institution’s specific configuration, the images are either transmitted directly from each branch to the financial institution’s core processor or through a consolidated communication point defined by the financial institution’s network.
- All encoding/data entry and batch level balancing is performed by the CPS processing center.
