CPS selects Rosetta Technologies for IRD printing
Wilson, N.C. — Creative Payment Solutions, Inc. (CPS) announced today its selection of Rosetta Technologies as a technology partner to provide Image Replacement Document (IRD) printing for its Deposit24 remote deposit product offering. Deposit24 is a service that allows merchants and billers to make image deposits from their businesses without making trips to the bank. CPS markets the Deposit24 service and other electronic banking services to financial institutions for their customer base. Deposit24 automatically provides for the conversion of checks scanned through the Deposit24 system into IRDs to comply with the provisions of the Check21 Act. The system also automatically converts other eligible checks into ACH transactions for the most expeditious clearing.
As part of delivering electronic banking solutions to financial institutions and their clients as an Application Service Provider (ASP), CPS operates a complete IRD printing center for this essential operational function. This new alliance with Rosetta Technologies will incorporate Rosetta’s IRDPrint / Remote Capture - Express software and MICR printers in its Deposit24 service to provide a value-priced, turnkey solution for those client banks wishing to produce IRDs in-house. For those customers operating an in-house IRD printing facility, Rosetta’s software will receive ANS DSTU X9.37-2004 files from CPS, convert those files into printer-ready files, and send the files to the bank’s Rosetta MICR printer that will print IRDs compliant with the ANS X9.100-140-2004 standard. The combination of software and hardware is priced to provide CPS’s client banks with an attractive option for in-house IRD printing.
“Financial Institutions in CPS’s target market now have the option of using our IRD printing services or printing IRD’s in-house,” said Harold Williams, chief operating officer of CPS. “This flexibility in service offering is another example of CPS’s leadership among electronic banking service providers. Rosetta’s comprehensive approach to in-house IRD printing will help CPS better serve our chosen market with the solutions that we provide.”
Bobby Batts, CPS product manager added: “Our selection of Rosetta as another of our technology partners further strengthens our Deposit24 service offering. Rosetta brings all of the necessary skills and components to make this program work for CPS, our resellers and our bank clients. I look forward to working with them on this arrangement.”
