First, as a follow-up to our June webinars, CPS is currently piloting our new Low Volume Remote Deposit Capture product with a few local customers. So far, so great! We look forward to offering this product to you soon. In turn, you'll have two RDC applications: your current high volume product and the new low volume product. The latter will allow you to market a less expensive product to your customers that typically deposit a small volume of checks. Small volume price with all the benefits of remote deposit capture. Stay tuned!
Now, let's Check It Out. Today, I'm going to revisit the topic from my first Check It Out in June 2008. This is the functionality to capture more than just MICR and check amount information at the point of scan. In addition, all deposit information can be interfaced into other applications. For example, an Accounts Receivable system. I'm revisiting the topic for two reasons. One, the method of capturing remittance data changed in the recent June 27th release. Two, there has been an increased interest in this functionality, as well as customer implementations. The attached four-page document discusses the four additional remittance data fields and the associated posting file. These are separate solutions, which can be individually activated and customized very easily for each of your clients.

Like last year, the number of RDC customer locations is expected to nearly double again. CPS hopes remote deposit capture continues to help you maintain existing customers, as well as grow new customer relationships.
